Mono Maintenance

I grew up in my father’s cabinet shop and learned from an early age that careful, honest work matters. After finishing my undergrad, I worked as a journeyman carpenter with Habitat for Humanity in New York City, then earned a PhD in Energy Economics, focusing on residential energy-efficiency policy—while running a residential maintenance company to maintain a close connection with the work. In the last 15 years, I’ve operated a home improvement business in both Los Angeles and San Diego, while also consulting on California energy policy to help translate what truly saves energy and improves comfort in real homes.

Several years ago, after moving to Mono County and completing two of my own remodels, we expanded operations into Mono and Inyo counties. We aimed to assist our friends and neighbors with quality home repairs and improvements that make homes perform at their best and look great. From small fixes to complete remodels, we bring a mix of hands-on craft and data-driven judgment to every project. We’re also readily available to discuss energy-efficiency audits and utility rebates whenever they make sense.
